Who we are

Hi, I’m Lindsey, and I’m so excited to welcome you to Morningstar Studio! As a photographer myself, I created this space with photographers in mind—a place that’s warm, inviting, and designed to elevate both your experience and that of your clients.

Morningstar Studio offers a cozy client lounge to enhance the client experience and provide flexibility for photographers, especially when hosting mini sessions or working with multiple clients. I’ve also included multiple thoughtfully designed sets to inspire creativity and give you and your clients a variety of looks—all without ever leaving the studio.

This space has been a labor of love, and my hope is that it sparks your creativity and makes you feel right at home. I can’t wait to see how you use Morningstar Studio to bring your vision to life!

FAQs

  • Check out The Space to see a list and examples of the props provided. It is a natural light studio so no lights are available, however, you’re welcome to bring your own equipment!

  • With floor to ceiling East and South facing windows, the natural light is gorgeous all day long! Rent the space in the early morning for a more bright and airy look. Want a moodier setting? Afternoon is perfect for this! Sheer curtains are available for all of the windows to help filter light all day long.

  • Please be respectful of the following expectations:

    • No confetti or glitter

    • No pets

    • No candles

    • No smoke machines

    • Keep music noise to a respectful level. Keep my neighbors happy!

    • Clean up after sessions. Cleaning supplies are included (vacuum, broom, wet wipes, etc.) Cleaning fees will be assessed as needed if the studio is left in a messy state.

    • Return all furniture to where you found it

    • Use the wheel locks on the movable wall when using

    • Parking? There is plenty of on-site parking on the East and West sides of the building.

    • Wi-Fi? Yes! You’ll find the password and network on a sign just inside the door.

    • You’ll find a shared bathroom for the 3rd floor. The bathroom code is on a sign just inside the door.

    • Need a changing room? The client lounge doubles as a changing area. Make sure to close the double doors and use the lock.

  • Yes! There is an elevator for you and your clients to use inside the building. If you have a wagon or other large items, the automatic doors are on the West side of the building.

  • Yes! There are security cameras throughout the studio for your’s and my safety. The Client Lounge does not have a security camera to allow for in-studio changing area.

  • There will be no refunds or rescheduling options. If you would like to sell your time to another photographer, please email me to let me know of the change. info@morningstar-studio.com

  • Yes! Bulk time discounts will be offered for 4+ continuous hours booked on the same day. Enjoy 10% off!

  • Nope! When you rent the space, you will get the entire 2,200 sq/ft for you and your clients. Before your session, you will receive an individual code to enter the space. Your code will expire when your rental time ends.
